Details: This seminar will explore how the Senedd (Welsh Parliament) has developed a shared communications and engagement strategy to strengthen awareness, understanding and participation in Welsh democracy.
By bringing together communications and engagement expertise, the Senedd has adopted a more integrated approach to reaching and connecting with citizens across Wales, with a focus on making democratic participation more accessible, relevant and meaningful.
As an extension of this wider strategy, the seminar will examine the dynamic and innovative participation campaign delivered ahead of the May 2026 Senedd election. The presentation will explore how the campaign was developed and delivered, the impact of a joined-up communications and engagement approach, and the lessons learned.
The seminar will then open up for questions and comments from the audience, an opportunity to share practices from other parliaments.
